Lifeness Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director and Group CEO: Yukihiro Maru) will host the National Knowledge-Based Manufacturing Conference 2025 on Friday, April 18, 2024. The following two organizations have been confirmed as sponsors for this event.

The National Knowledge Manufacturing Conference is a forum that embodies “knowledge manufacturing”—the creation of new knowledge through the combination of existing knowledge. In contrast to Japan, with its declining birthrate and aging population, the world’s population continues to surge, and markets are steadily expanding. At the same time, however, the world faces a mountain of challenges. Conventional industrial structures, which have downplayed environmental impacts, have already reached their limits, and there is a growing need for a new industrial model that achieves harmony between humanity and the Earth.

On this occasion, the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SME Support, Japan)—an independent administrative agency responsible for implementing small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) policies that provides support tailored to companies’ growth stages and management challenges—and the Japan Finance Corporation, which provides business loans to entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses, will participate as supporting organizations.
