[National Knowledge-Based Manufacturing Conference 2024, April 12] Seven financial institutions have confirmed their participation as partner support organizations

Lifeness Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director and Group CEO: Yukihiro Maru) will host the National Knowledge-Based Manufacturing Conference 2024 on Friday, April 12, 2024. We are pleased to announce that the following seven financial institutions have agreed to participate as partner support organizations.

The National Knowledge Manufacturing Conference is a forum that embodies “knowledge manufacturing”—the creation of new knowledge through the combination of existing knowledge. In contrast to Japan, with its declining birthrate and aging population, the world’s population continues to surge, and markets are steadily expanding. At the same time, however, the world faces a mountain of challenges. Conventional industrial structures, which have downplayed environmental impacts, have already reached their limits, and there is a growing need for a new industrial model that achieves harmony between humanity and the Earth.

The National Knowledge Manufacturing Conference, organized by Ribane, serves as the platform to create such opportunities, and our partner support organizations work alongside us to expand this initiative into their respective regions.
The seven financial institutions that have recently decided to participate are partners who will work with our company to jointly promote the regional acceleration program “Regional Tech Planter.” Regional Tech Planter aims to create new industries in the region based on research findings from local universities and other research institutions, as well as to foster mega-ventures capable of making an impact on the global stage. Teams identified through the Regional Tech Planter program will also participate in the National Knowledge-Based Manufacturing Conference.
