Lifeness Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director and Group CEO: Yukihiro Maru) will host the National Knowledge-Based Manufacturing Conference 2025 on Friday, April 18, 2025. As part of the conference, a keynote session titled “Regenerative Cities Realized Through Collaboration Among SMEs, Startups, and Major Corporations” (Session Partner: Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd.) will be held.
Currently, Tokyo Tatemono and Livanes have started a demonstration project to realize a "regenerative city" as a new type of urban form. In collaboration with several start-ups, a "tree garden" that keeps changing and producing saplings will be created in the middle of Yaesu, Tokyo, and a rich form of life will be constructed in the gaps between cities. To realize such a future, it is essential to control air conditioning in the space and prevent deterioration of the structure. In this session, together with small and medium-sized enterprises that possess these technologies, we will consider the new urban form and the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises involved in it.

Leveraging Terral’s extensive lineup of fans, he expanded efforts to improve various work environments through airflow—not only with local exhaust ventilation systems but also with solutions for heat stress mitigation and other applications.
He is a member of the Japan Society of Sports and Health Science and holds a certification as a Heat Stroke Prevention Instructor. In response to the increasingly hot weather each year, he proposes solutions for preventing heat stroke, such as cooling systems that utilize well water in conjunction with airflow.
