The National Knowledge Manufacturing Conference is a forum that embodies “knowledge manufacturing”—the creation of new knowledge through the combination of existing knowledge. In contrast to Japan, with its declining birthrate and aging population, the world’s population continues to grow rapidly, and markets are steadily expanding. At the same time, however, the world faces a mountain of challenges.
